How was he ranked #6 when he hadn't fought at 147 in two whole years?

You get removed from the rankings after one.

So... you're wrong. But you keep saying that so go for it.

Pacman gave Marquez 3 fights after their first fight which was a draw but Marquez may not give Pacman a 5th fight because of the K.O. Maybe Marquez saw something in Pac before that Knock out.

I'm a huge Marquez fan, but its quite evident to me that Pacman has the better resume. He has wins over pretty much everyone from 130-147. His dominating performances against Barrera and Morales made him a 1st ballot HOF'er; and every victory since than has just been to ascend himself in the All-time ranking status.

That being said, JMM is one of the greatest Mexican fighters of all time. Manny is an ATG though.

He only fought one catch weight fight for a title (Marg). So him....Sugar Ray Leonard...Floyd all make up some really stellar company.

Everyone has a right to their own opinion....but when ranking fighters as all time greats.....it's supposed to be a measure of their "overall" career accomplishments. So yes....Juan KO'd Manny in their last fight....but he was taking a brutal beating before finding that spectacular knock out.

Just because Hector Camacho beat Sugar Ray Leonard....doesn't earn him the right to be ranked ahead of Ray based on that one win. But JMM is a great fighter and an ATG in his own right.

Ken Norton must be a greater heavyweight than Ali by a lot of the logic in here (i know ali was way past prime but you get what im saying)

If the fight went to round 7-8, Pac may have won by TKO in their 4th fight, Pac looked good in there but I guess now its 2-1-1 for Pac Officially.

if you saw the pac-bradley fight, jmm beating bradley doesn't do much in closing the gap for their atg rankings.

It is clearly Manny. I rank him closer to 25 and Marquez closer to 50, just off the top of my head to prove the point.
