This is a ****ing ridiculous question :deal

Calzaghe stands nowhere near Lewis in terms of a legacy. Absolutely nowhere

Although Lewis is higher, its not by miles as people are saying in this thread. If I did a Brit ATG list, there would probably be only 3-4 spaces between them.

Lewis, and it's not close. Lennox Lewis is one of the top heavyweights of all time. Heavyweight is the banner division for boxing.

Joe is one of the top 168 pound fighters. A new division, with weak fighters during joe's era. Joe's best wins are against Lacy (who was over-hyped at the time - we have since learned that he wasn't too special), Kessler (good win), and granddaddys hops & jones.

I won't go through Lewis' whole resume, but go to boxrec, and you will see that it's a who's who of top heavyweights for his generation.

Hamed loses a lot of his luster for basically quiting after his first loss if you ask me. All time great fighters usually do not do that.

Find me one other post where we've ever conversed on Lennox Lewis.
    You must be getting confused.
However I have challenged your David Haye hatred on a couple of occasions, where you've ducked every attempt i've made to challenge your Vlad idolatry.

Too bad it's not, to me Calzaghe barely makes the top 100 ATG list, and most people don't even put him in there anyways.

might I ask these users how they justify their pick of Calzaghe over Lewis?

Ah yes mister Hayes loyal fan...:D

Im a massive Wlad fan. But just a quick one regarding Haye, he wouldnt be a champion if Chagaev hadnt of had to relinquish the belt;)

But this is a Lewis/Calzaghe thread.

It has to go to Lewis. He has the greater legacy but people are making them out to be miles apart in terms of their achievements. Calzaghe has beaten some great fighters too. Some just happened to be past their sell by date.

you mean all of them were past their sell by date, except for Kessler.
