Higher P4P: Michael Spinks or Carlos Zarate?

    Not at all actually but just thats a general comment about how people tend to underrate and then overrate things and vice versa.

    El Buja used that analogy, I liked it.

    Case in point, Mike McCallum...was so underrated for so long, his name became synonymous with the word..now its probably getting a bit much and its starting to swing the other way slightly.

    Good post McGrain. I agree that Martinez was a very high quality operator, as was Zamora.

    I wasn't too impressed with Roldofo Martinez, I don't think he did a great deal outside of hurting Zarate early on with a left hook.

    One thing i didn't see mentioned yet is Zarate had a much tougher task than Spinks when he attempted to move up.Though a top win, it was very much a right place right time scenario against a faded champion.

    Michael fares badly if he has to face a peak heavyweight great imo.
