These are the physical skills, ring IQ is deploying them (and other physical/psychological assets) correctly to convert them into wins. He's demonstrated being better at almost everything than Lopez and Salido, but in both cases the opponents used tactics that emphasized their strengths and minimized their weaknesses and got close/controversial wins. They won with ring IQ, at least as I understand the concept. Part of this is the long amateur career where judging and refereeing is different, they wouldn't be able to finesse him under those rules. In terms of making money without taking damage it's high, in terms of taking a loss to an opponent (Casimero) who was clearly beatable by him he loses points.
Off top of my head... Highest in my opinion are... • Floyd Mayweather and Andre Ward. ....... Shout outs : Solid, solid IQs • Loma, Hopkins, Rigo. ....... Underated IQ's • Canelo, Rosado, Golovkin, Pac ..... Average IQs • Hoya, Trinidad .... Slightly below Average • Mosley ..... Poor IQs • Mayorga, Andrade, Kirkland, Wilder, Rios Just to name a few of each type.
Fury's ring iq is A+++ His dissection of Klitschko was insane. Mentally dimensions above even Floyd Mayweather
Played the Klit like a fiddle, the feints were so good and at such times that Wlad was reacting to almost all, masterclass performance by Fury in Wlad's territory . I'll however hold my horses on the Mayweather thing until he outclasses Joshua.
Surprised nobody mentioned... Paulie Malannagi A++ boxing IQ Tony Bellew A++ boxing IQ Sir Joe Callzaghe A++ IQ Worst has to be the wlad tbh. For such a great champ. Wilder is probably un-gradable.
Tony Bellew had a very good boxing brain. Read the game well and still does. Nice left hook too This content is protected
