    What about the 1890s?

    Bob Fitzsimmons and George Dixon are two that spring to mind. But maybe someone more obscure deserves it more.

    I think Miguel Cotto may warrant consideration for the 2000’s but I certainly won’t quibble mate.

    Cotto is definitely a good mention, but his two best opponents were prime Pac and Old Mosley, and De La Hoya fought a prime Pac, and a prime Mosley twice, as well as prime B-Hop and Mayweather.

    I'd definitely give it to De La Hoya, but Cotto isn't a bad shout.
