This one actually is two minute rounds, unlike the previous ladies' bout. I wonder why the inconsistency?

 

Complete shellacking. Yamashita destroyed her. Kransakun had zero fighter's instinct, tossing out leave-me-alone cat's-paws while backing up and turning her cheek instinctively away from punches with her lips purses and cheeks puffed out like a saxophone player. Ref finally halted the carnage 90 seconds in.

Yamashita improves to 1-0-1.

19 year old Kransakun, meanwhile, drops to 0-10-1, suffering her tenth consecutive stoppage loss. Pack it up and go to college, girl!

 

Michael John Whitehead vs. Tongthep Taeyawong, 6 rounds @ super welterweight

 

The ring announcer said this is being fought under a catchweight, but then said Taeyawong was 69.2 kilos and Whitehead was 69 even.

What could the catchweight possibly be?

69.8532kg is the light middleweight limit on the nose, so...why not just call it a 15l4b contest? Why split hairs over half a kilogram?
