As it stands, right now none of the follwing fighters are in my top 100 all time p4p list. No doubt many of them make your lists. Highlight who does or who you think should make a top 100 list.

...........I have to admit this is a list comprised of mostly fighters I've never seen, but only read about. I'm sure seeing a few more of some of these may sway me, but there's only so much time.........

I have never made a top 100 list, so the following highlighted names are more assumptions. The ones highlighted in red are certainties, those highlighted in blue are possibilities.

No he isn't. He is a fighter I haven't seen much of so I don't know what to make of him. I have however recently got my hands on his fights with Gregory, Kates, Fourie and Lopez, so he's someone that I will get to know a bit better in the coming weeks.

What do you make of him? Do you think he could arguably make a top 100, or that he at least should make a list of the next 100, like the one I've just put up here?

    Great detail!

Can't believe you wouldn't put Carpentier in! Did you watch that 37 min. footage of him against Frank Klaus and change your mind? :D

Would love to see your all time list. It would be one of the more peculiar lists, with lots of obscure oldies.

Tommy Burns and Les Darcy top 20
Freddie Welsh and Benny Lynch top 30
Sam McVea, Jack Delaney, Joe Brown and Willie Ritchie top 50
    Young Corbett III top 80

    Just a few comments:

Jack McAuliffe maybe should still make it, but he was a bit of an upper class Sven Ottke really. Got lucky quite a few times in fights.

If Barrera makes your top 50, Morales should be right next door surely. He did beat Barrera conquerors in Junior Jones and Manny Pacquiao.

The problem is they just retire or comeing back lol. So I wait for SURE, before I add them to the top 100 perhaps, but they will make it perhaps.
I like Barrera, Morales and Pac. I can see them making the list with retirement.

Jack McAuliffe beat a few good fighters, retire unbeating, and yes did get lucky, BUT he was a one of thsos early legends, also hard to rank because of the lack of film, his prime was the 1880's lol. So that relly hurts his standing in the eyes of media or moden rankers, but I try to put history and some what skills as one, of couse my list is not base head to head as it is all guess work in that department, we cant get todays fights right half the time lol. What makes us think we can get two fighters from other eras in these dream matchs right?

I'd say he is arguably top 100-somewhere in the lower half.

He would definitely make a next 100 on accomplishments.Depends how highly you rate him head to head. He's quite an odd fighter stylistically and fought a good level of competition that kept him from being too dominant.

The kind of fighter that will split opinions most of the time, not all that different than Monzon in that respect.

How do you think he goes against the light heavies that came after him: like Spinks, Qawi, Jones, Michelczewski?
