Will try to watch these ASAP. Thx for the report, even if it's about politics. Shame that a few fights can ruin a very successful boxing weekend. BTW Brickhaus, may I ask how did you score Mosley vs. Mora?

 

Parra-Arce isn't a great fight. It's only worth watching really to shake your head wondering at the scoring (both the "before" and "after"). It isn't as bad as Mosley-Mora but Parra was pretty negative and Arce was woefully inept.

Soto-Monterrosa, judging by the last two rounds that I caught, was a cracking fight and worth hunting down.

Monterrosa didn't appear to have anything special in his arsenal but was giving Soto fits and apparently dropping him left and right...it will be interesting to watch the whole thing play out and see how and when he's able to exploit whatever hole he found in Soto's game.

(I know, you were addressing Brickhaus, but my response is to the first half of your post )

I did not see any of those slips by Soto as KD's, I also didn't see him shake Soto up either to be honest, that said, I had the fight a lot closer than the judges, however Soto took the last couple of rounds when the fight was on the table imo.

I agree about Arce though, he CLEARLY! lost that fight in my eyes, infact you are right to say " I could probably count the number of clean punches Arce landed on my fingers"

Parra won that fight, no question about it in my mind.

 

Why am I not surprised??
