You are talking levels above Coyle. That's why Hearns is saying a few more fights, next summer a world title fight, basically a year away.

The team on Sky are talking Campbell out of a world title fight now, so they do not think he is ready for that level.

He is not ready now and people have to remember he is not a baby, he is 27 years old.

 

Embarrassment - as in its an amateur performance from a 28 year old gold medallist who is tipped for great things .

Coyle is a joke of a boxer . He always ways. I asked Hans did he watch his career and he didn't respond cos he's a weirdo who knows nothing about boxing.

I have no agenda here, I bang the drum loudly for British fighters on here and always will but I also have to be truthful and give an honest opinion.

Do I hope Campbell wins a world title? Yes of course I do, I want British boxers to do well, achieve great things but let's get it right here, Campbell just beat Tommy Coyle and made it much more difficult than it should have been and questions are now there to be asked.

Campbell won but looked very beatable tonight.

 

To be fair though, sometimes you just have those styles. Remember Carson Jones? What about that Romanian dude Selby fought? Or Wilzewski for DeGale. I mean I know these guys are probably better than Coyle (I'm not sure how good Coyle is to be honest) but still, there are off nights. So who knows.
