Jones hurts Rose and backs him up with combos, Rose foolishly gets involved in a brawl but has some brief success but gets his nose busted for his troubles. Jones fires off that uppercut hurting Rose twice, but Rose keeps battling bravely on. Great round, 10-9 Jones and 19-19

 

19-19. Terrific second round.

ones roars out and HURTS Rose with a right, and then follows up with a two-fisted volley to the body and head. Nasty uppercuts and it looks like a repeat of the first fight. But Rose composes himself and laces his foe with combo after combo. Jones fires back with another volley, hurting Rose again... and then Rose comes back and knocks Jones off balance with a NICE right hand.

ROTY contender, methinks.

 

Rose is going to break down Jones unfortunately. Stop him about the 9th round i reckon.

Round 3.
Jones starts quickly sinking in body shots to Rose who is stunned briefly but comes back firing spearing jabs and even manages to back up Jones with some nice combos. Jones looks bothered by Rose finally as he ships a few clean combos.

28-28 Rose wins the third through superior volume, but Jones ramps up the attack in the fourth and outpunches Brian throughout the round.

 

Rose's nose looks terrible.

 

Round 4,
Jones sinks in the uppercuts and bodyshots and keeps shipping jabs but doesn't look bothered, he's busting up Rose's nose once more. Despite the commentary favouring Rose, he isn't getting the better of the brawl and at the end of the round Jones smashes Rose with a clean uppercut prompting a brawl to almost break out!

Great round for Rose going into 1 min left in the 5th. Wow. This is a great fight!

 

48-47 Rose. Rose actually forces Jones back at one point and lands a couple of very nice combos to seal the frame. Jones is still having intermittent success, though.

 

Round 5
Rose smashes Jones with a series of right hands - but worryingly Jones doesn't look hurt or bothered, Jones loses the rounds as Rose catches him with some nice combos, but worryingly for Rose the Jones uppercut keeps smashing into his nose.
