Heys, regarding the sauna suit situation etc, i always wear 2 t shirts, plastic hooded jacker(hood up) microfibre running jacket, lycra running trousers and cotton trackies on top......

I dont do it for the cutting weight purpose but i do like the way i am boiling and sweating after say a mile cause of all the layers.

I do think its good for me regarding impurities etc.

Its an uphill road run of 3-4 miles

I think i am realising i cant eat all i want and burn it as easy

Anyways, do ppl think that morning and night running hold much difference ? Morning makes your metabolism kick in quicker and resorts to your sugar fat storage = loss of stomach fats, true ?

    Thanks again

Morning or night doesn't really matter just run, don't over think things. It doesn't have to be running either, whatever gets your heart rate up will do. Be careful with the sweating, if you can't get rid of excess heat your performance will suffer.

Don't even get me started on the detoxing bull****. Detoxing is done by your liver and kidneys, even when you're not breaking a sweat.

Aye cheers, its easy to think about thinking etc

Now you mention detox etc what forms of detox have you used if you have ? I see many "packet" ones and also the ones on forums, that end up with a cup of oil and lemon then sit and wait etc....

Seriously, im wanting to do one but am confused with the options.

    Peoples opinions appreciated.again

    Cheers

i much prefer running/sprinting in the woods compared to roads....nocer place to be, better air, nicer smells etc.....i integrate some log lifting/gate vaulting/sprinitng into my 45 minute gentle run every day....it goes much quicker than roadwork as your always looking where to place yer feet etc....then i finish with 5-8 sets of uphill sprints with vaults at the top......

"it goes much quicker than roadwork as your always looking where to place yer feet"

Exactly, i never run off road etc, im a bit anal with times etc and aye the footwork.

Maybe i need to dedicate a time to the run ( run for 30 or 40 ) rather than, how quick i can do a run ( my regular run )

Offroad gives you a lot more thinking on your feet ( surprises etc )

Can only be better :good I was just worried about weight gain from it........and those branches ! ! !

Will let you know when i start doing the sprints etc, cheers :good

I thought about this before, I realise that the sauna suits will only shed the water and you'll put it straight back on but surely you'll be working a lot harder so you will therefore burn more calories or do you think you won't work as hard because you're dehydrated?

Question i sometimes ask myself "is it better to have a ton of layers on, or watch the old man sprint past me in his vest and snug shorts "

Good question, isnt there a positive to wearing more layers, plastics, long term, rather than "making weight" ??

    Cheers

yes it makes you sweat more then the sweat stays in your clothes because it cnt get out through all the layers and it adds weight to you while you run

Dehydration will take its toll, but what's worse the body becomes incapable of getting rid of excess heat and is forced to decrease performance. It's not worth the discomfort. I'd rather be well hydrated and comfortably clothed.

None, they're bull****. If you eat healthy your liver and kidney will take care of the detoxing for you, no effort required.

The same water weight that used to be inside you now hangs in your clothes, meaning the total weight remains exactly equal.

Aint the end of that workout a positive then ? If you can maintain, foods intakes etc? Your weight loss is not only gone but it is shifting as u act to a deficiency, example, every last mile, you may add 2 slight pounds to your weight ?

Good replys btw, i understand what you mean about heat release etc.........maybe i need a happy medium?
Tbh, i did the same when sparring for fights etc.....wore layers etc............
1 they absorb instead of running all over me
2 i see it as a similar idea to wearing 16-20 oz gloves regarding sparring and speed.
3 running in workboots as opposed to running shoes/trainers etc ( no i never did this )

    Thoughts
