Haha, **** it I think that **** is hilarious still. Never seen some of those camera angles, seeing it like that, the way he gives it the raised eyebrows to the camera and goes and shakes Vitalis hand ... it really looked effortless on Hayes part.

I still maintain that Haye was in the right here.

 

Haye was absolutely in the right. Del boy says 'when i see him ill give him 2 slaps' and 'ill break his jaw', steps to him surrounded by his entourage and then gets in his face and pushes his fist against his chin. absolute self defense and appropriate dealing of the situation. Haye shouldn't have hit him, but none of it would have happened if chisora hadn't confronted him. It's only his fault.

Man, come on - that event didn't happen in isolation. You can't ignore the context of what Haye did because that's why he lamped Chisora.

You've got a man who had already assaulted two men that weekend with no provocation, and now he's walking up to you after saying he wanted to slap you and break your jaw.

I don't think Haye's behaviour was correct, but it's pretty clear it was Chisora's fault the whole thing kicked off. No one forced him to be aggressive and he paid the price for it. He got totally humiliated and looks likely to receive some sort of ban.

 

Fair enough DFT, I can see the Haye argument even if I dont agree with it.

I dont believe Chisora was humiliated though, some guy sucker punching you & sneaking out the back door at the first opportunity is no 'winner' in my eyes. Anyone can land a cheap shot and scarper!
