Hilarious James Toney Interview

i agree with the one guy on here .. it's almost like he avoids talking cause of the work it takes him to get words out .. and he's aware it's worst so it's almost like he's trying to hold back .. smh sad

When and where exactly did Freddie Roach state that?

As far as I know, Pepper Roach and Toney himself stated that he sparred both Klitschkos back in 1996 when he was preparing for the Montell Griffin rematch. Toney was a LHW back then. And both Klitschkos were at the beginning of their pro boxing careers, Wladimir being an olympic gold medal winner and Vitali a former kickbox champion. Toney was already a 2-time champion and a 50+ fights veteran.

Toney stated that he kicked both Klitschkos butts of course , and Pepper Roach stated that it was competitive sparring with Toney holding his own against the much bigger Klitschkos. There was no clear 'winner'.

 

Pepper Roach said this?? Do you have any idea where this interview is? I’ve never heard of Toney sparring Wladimir ever at any point in his career. If there was any kind of all out intense spar between Toney and Wlad... Toney would have gotten the **** knocked out of him. Lol Vitali wasn’t as intense in his sparing but still would have kept James dumbass in check.

 

Uysk would have decisioned toney very easily.

 

No he wouldn't have. He's a great fighter but not a great cw, Uysk beats him easily.

 

Feel kinda sad when you see what are the consequences from being hit in the head for 30+ years.
