true, but he lived most of his life in wales, fights under the welsh flag, and has a broad welsh accent.
I was in Tysons camp for this fight a few times when he was in the states. That really explains it perfectly. Tyson at this time was an emotional moody wreck. Some days he was nice and some days he was a total *****. He wouldnt show up some days, show up late, and be overall miserable the entire time. Tommy Brooks would be giving him instructions and Jay Bright would be giving him totally different advice. It was a mess. When he took pictures after his workout, he would have no expression, he would just stand there with a blank stare.
Tyson was in training camp & Calzaghe got mad, because Tyson wasn't enthusiastic about taking a picture after a long grueling training session?
Tyson opened his training camp for Julius Francis at Gerrits Leprachaun Gym in Miami, Florida. I was there for mini camp which was the first two weeks before he moved back to Vegas. It was basically a short training session of about an hour, which started with jump rope and then pad work or sparring, and then Tyson would shower, take a few pictures, and then leave miserably. The gym was closed to the public but there was always a massive crowd waiting for him to leave. Like I said, what Calzahge said, explains Tyson perfectly at this time. He was a moody *****.
enzo straightened him up. if enzo had taken over training tyson after he had ditched rooney, tyson would of gone on to be one of the greatest heavyweights of all time, instead tyson got himself surrounded by a dumb 'yes man' ontourage with a combined IQ of 10. tyson needed someone to tell him straight and snap him out of the bull**** world he lived in.
lets here it. i suppose you think tyson surrounded himself with the right people after he ****ed rooney off? that was the worst thing tyson ever did, surround himself with leeches and yes men. he needed someone to stand up to him and knock him down a peg or two.
Nope Mike hung with assholes (Don King, Jay Bright, Crocodile etc) after he got rid of Rooney but Enzo Calzaghe is a skinny little dude with a mullet. He comes across as a disciplinarian and Tyson would listen to him for as long as he felt like it. After that Enzo would get ***** slapped. Mike was ****in crazy and it was his way or the highway.
At least Enzo was like yu gonna smile or what ..I think he als didn't give a **** ..Would have been funny that confrontation if it got heated .Im sure Tyson rips his head off but Enzo doesn't take as the type to back down ,to anyone ..
That Calzaghe story is a lie, Calzaghe probably high on coke here is what Tyson really replied to Enzo Calzaghe: [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhDf2knqT3k[/ame] And then when Joe Calzaghe seeing his dad almost about to get raped started nodding when Tyson talked about eating Don Kings children to calm Tyson down
