I thought Hill should have retired like 10 years ago, but mad props to him for getting in title position again and the guy is ALWAYS in shape for his age. I've never seen Arslan, how good is he?
lol, these are mine Seems like there are youtube-users, that read my posts at a german boxing forum He's not very talented, but he's a solid worker with a tight defense and an excellent condition. He improved his skills well in the last years.
Yes, that's about it. He's a relentless pressure fighter, throws a lot of punches, goes forward all the time and has an incredible stamina. I don't think this faded version of Hill will be able to handle Arslan's agression.
Arslan? His stamina isnt from this world. He must be martian or from another star from the outer space. He is mentally tough pitbull who is on the constant attack for 12 long rounds. He takes a lot of punches, but his chin is one of the best in the game. His style makes for exciting fights. Tokarev vs Hill was one of the best cruiser weight fights I have seen within the last couple of years. His last fights against Drozd and Brudov were fun to watch, too. His weak spots:he doesnt have much pop his fists, his defence is certainly from this planet, his skills are just mediocre. One of his last opponents,Drozd, was head and shoulders over Arlsan in terms of talent, skills, and firepower, but couldnt cope with Arslan's pitbull style and his merciless attacks so that Drodz finally cave in in round 5. Very interesting fight it was, emanuel! Drozd looked like a future champ with his fluid movements, powerful shots, telling jab,and his beautiful display of talent and skills. Arslan looked like a rough but unpolished streetfighter who cant hold a candle to such a superior opponent.Totally out of shoes, outclassed, and on the way to be schooled by Drozd. Well,Drozd vs Arslan proved that mental toughness, excellent stamina, and a good game plan can overcome skill and talent at times. Based on skillls Arslan for sure is the weakest top 10 fighter at cruiser weight. However, his chin, his stamina, his relentless pressure make him a fighter worthy of any top 10 fighter's steel.
Saw taht Sozed fight, what was siad was right. Suprior condition and a beard will beat a better man. As a Hill fan, who was really robbed like hell vs Msske, I had it 8 to 3...It should be a good fight...but definatly it will be a chore for Hill. If he loses he's lot to a good man. Age will figger into it. At 42 Hill is no longer "QuickSliver"
