I really hope he jacks it in but I have a feeling that he wants some more cash before he does what many boxers seem to be doing now and going into promoting. Anything to swell an already huge bank balance. My respect for Ricky will all but dissappear if he does that
I don't understand why everyone is calling for him to retire. He's currently better than ever and there's no shame in losing to Pacquiao. He's obviously not going to fight Pac again so he doesn't have too much to worry about.
That was his promotion company to put on 8 cards wasnt it? Not for Ricky to actually be fighting himself? He'll have one more fight in Manchester I think.
He should not retire. The Watson defeat was bad but he came back with a win against Bami and a crack at the IBO belt.
I think he has way to much to lose by fighting on and 2's for him to retire seems an interesting bet.
his over-inflated ego won't allow him to quit now....look for him to return to the competition level of his WBU reign of terror for a couple of fights back home. by the way....anyone see him sitting in the stands with the United players on Sunday? he looked ****ing terrible and fat already.
