This Mexican showdown is happening on Saturday in Hermosillo, Sonora. Both Diaz and Novoa are rugged veterans. Diaz went 12 rounds with Rungvisai back in 2018, he has also fought with Juan Hernandez and Nordine Oubaali (both stopped Diaz) As for Novoa......this guy can't catch a break. His last win was against a Nicaraguan fighter named Alcides Martinez in 2014 and since then he has gone 0-6-3. Although he was competitive in his fights against Wanheng, Fuentes, Guevara and Rodriguez, he definitely looks like a spend force, and last time around he got KOed by some dude named Esteban Bermudez. Diaz should be fresh enough to beat Oswaldo, though I'm hoping the ex-champ can finally get a win.
