December 2ⁿᵈ @ Korakuen Hall. The vacant WBO Asia Pacific super lightweight title will be on the line.

Inoue, a first cousin of Naoya & Takuma (and like them a seasoned amateur - with a 112-18 record with 60 kayos/RSC's, and trained by his uncle/their dad Shingo), is currently undefeated but his biggest step up to date has been 38 year old Valentine Hosokawa (defeating him by wide UD in April to snatch the Japanese lightweight title). Chávez, as with most Pinoys with a few stamps on their passport, is better than his record suggests, and last visited the Land of the Rising Sun in a close MD loss to Rikki Naito for the OPBF super lightweight title.

The co-main event sees the continuation of Ryō Matsumoto's comeback, in yet another relatively soft touch at featherweight.
