That was expected though. Hernandez was a massive favorite on the betting market.

No, he wasn't. Hernandez was -300 and Castaneda +210.

Amazing that this dude is able to make 108.... He's probably breaking the rules every single fight.

Damn, you were over a minute ahead of my feed and I got very confused for a moment because nothing of the sort really seemed like it was about to happen, so it got me to wondering if we actually were synced up in real time and you were just getting in a last minute prediction and then - yeah. Very suddenly, Castañeda got his brains scrambled by an overhand, followed by just about every punch in the book. Uppercuts and hooks did the most damage but Hernández was rocking him onto his calcaneii even with stiff jabs. Little fella has some wallop. :deal:

We're getting treated to some really nice fights during the week, almost makes up for how bad Haney/Kambosos was.

Well...i do not care about the league when i talk about favorites and underdogs. The betting market is where the real money is. And there Hernandez was a -300 favorite and Castaneda a clear cut +200 underdog.

You mean it was one of those rare occasions where the oddsmaker lemmings actually got it right. The League is usually far smarter than they are.

This card has been...fun. I'm not sure how to process a DAZN card being fun.

I don't think you understand the way a betting market functions. The books setting the lines and the market is betting those lines and so they're drifting towards one or another guy. In this case the first books opened Castaneda as a slight underdog at +120 but the market bet the **** out of Hernandez and his odds dropped to -300 from -140 or so. So the market actually was really sharp. And the market is often very sharp. They bet the **** out of Haney last week too and what did he do? Dominate.

I don't think the league is sharp at all or smarter than the betting market. YOU (and a few other guys) are sharp with picking underdogs. But you're a rare exception. The guys in the league usually picking the favorite or the well known name. Look at all the guys on top, there is barely a guy who is leading in the Daredevil race because they're taking no risks at all. The favorite in the league is more often than not also the favorite on the betting market. A lot of guys in the league also using the betting odds to make picks.

Molina skeet-shooting with the long high left jab on the fadeaway step, easily in control with it so far and stamping García Rodríguez on the forehead repeatedly.

    20-18 Molina

García Rodríguez forcing more of a slappy, sloppy slugfest in the third. Molina gets the best of things in the first two minutes, even when they're brawling, but gets stunned by a whip-snap climbing right with about thirty seconds left and García Rodríguez continues to wail on him until the bell.

    10-9 García Rodríguez, close

    29-28 Molina
