Kyōguchi has a point deducted, insanely. The headbutts are certainly not his fault; he is doing everything in his power to move laterally or away from Bermúdez. Whatever. Kyōguchi skewering Bermúdez with jabs in multiples and nice straight rights, while the Mexican tries ploughing with underhanded shots downstairs as he propels himself in, exhausted but determined. MASSIVE counter right over the top by Kyōguchi, maybe best shot of the fight. Kyōguchi plants his feet and rips body shots on Bermúdez coming in.

How is the pace still what the pace is here midway into the seventh round?

Kyōguchi countering and Bermúdez brawling, same script. Kyōguchi having a rockier round, but Bermúdez not using his gloves so much as incidental contact to cause it. Kyōguchi the one hurt from a headbutt this time, and moments later gets shoved onto all fours, ruled a slip correctly. They are leaning in close, clattering up each other's torsos with ambidextrous attacks. Kyōguchi now has a cut of his own. The ref has the ringside physician check Bermúdez's. Cleared. Kyōguchi jabs and slides to his left. Bermúdez bows in, perhaps looking to lean his weight on Kyōguchi or clinch. Several punches on the side and back of the head and Bermúdez goes down. At first it seems the ref is going to rule it a KD and give him a count, but then he sends Bermúdez to a neutral corner and indicates it was from fouls, and deducts another point from Kyōguchi.

Replay shows the last punch that Kyōguchi drilled Bermúdez in the base of the skull with in the heat of the moment was indeed a rabbit punch but pretty much all the ones that preceded it were legal.
