January 15th in Mexico. WBA in-house world title unification; Kyōguchi holds the "super" and Bermúdez the "regular" version of their light flyweight championship. This will be Kyōguchi's fourth defense of the former, and Bermúdez is surrendering the regular belt (absorbed into the superior one no matter the outcome here) without having yet defended it since knocking out Carlos Antonio Cañizales Civira for it this past May.
