I didn't take it at all actually, anymore than you took mine. But I didn't criticize yours. And I backed mine up with criteria YOU set forth. You wanted boxing historians and other boxers to validate the pick. I just gave you a list from the most well known boxing magazine in this country who uses a panel of writers and historians. They rated Louis #1 overall.....Shavers was #10.

You said "No ****ing way Louis could KO McCall". You said that Louis was too small and that he McCall would laugh at his punches. Is that not saying I am wrong for making such a pick?

Now you're not debating in good faith.

You said "No ****ing way" and that "McCall would laugh at Louis's punches" among other things. That is being critical of the choice I made.

Hey it was competitive for the first few rounds. You caught a big hook in the 3rd and never really recovered. The next two rd's, well, Sweet Pea's superior speed and accuracy really stole the show, opening up a bad cut on your right eye impairing your vision. In the fifth you caught a flurry of punches and was sent to the canvas. You had heart, you got up but the ref had to step in. You did catch a glancing blow right after the ref waived it off, but unfortunatley for you Joe Cortez was not assigned to this bout. But those last two rounds man no offense, but he got all up in that ass.

How many clean flush punches did Joe Louis have to land on Max Baer to knock him down (couldn't KO him), who's chin wasn't really close to McCall's?

Actually, Baer's chin WAS one of the best of all-time. Louis was the ONLY guy to put him on the canvas for the ten count in 84 fights, and even then, Baer basically took the count by choice.

Max Baer had an IRON chin. Maybe not McCall level, but damn close.:yep
