PBF, as well as many of his many fans claim that he is the best ever...well I have a little excersice for us and see how he would faired against the floowing ATG'a..now I would like the why he would win..not just comments like : He will kill ...etc..I want a analysis of why you think he would or wouldn;t beat these ATG's..

    1. SRL : between 135 to 154

    2. Tommy Hearns: 147 & 154

    3. Aaron Pryor: 140

    4. Roberto Duran: 135 to 147

    6. Meldrick Taylor: 140

    7. JCC: 130, 135 & 140

1.SRL - Floyd loses a wide UD or late TKO. People comment on Mayweathers best attributes being defence and speed. Well SRL has both of them and more. SRL's offence would be too much for Floyd.

    2. Hearns - Floyd loses by tko in the mid rounds. The ideal mould of fighter to beat Floyd Mayweather would be a tall, lanky fighter with a decent jab and high workrate. The only thing Hearns could be improved on against Floyd is if he was a southpaw aswell.

    3. Pryor - Floyd loses by tko in the mid rounds. Too strong. Aint going the distance.

    4. Roberto Duran - At 135 Floyd loses by tko in mid to late rounds. Duran is too strong and would apply constant pressure to floyd. Think Castillo but a hell of a lot worse.

    5. Meldrick Taylor - A prime Meldrick Taylor would beat Floyd by wide UD. Meldrick Taylor has probably the greatest handspeed in the history of boxing and would do a job on him. Anything less than a prime Taylor and Floyd wins.

    6. JCC - I'd probably say JCC is the best ever at 130, I also think he wins at 135 but would lose at 140.

    7. Sweet Pea - Floyd loses by wide UD to possibly the best defence of all time.

    8. Hector Camacho - Floyd wins both by wide UD.

    9. Alexis Arguello - a 50/50 fight,

    Summary

Sugar Ray Leonard wins vs Floyd
    Thomas Hearns wins vs Floyd
    Aaron Pryor wins vs Floyd
    Roberto Duran wins vs Floyd
    Meldrick Taylor wins vs Floyd
    J Chavez wins vs Floyd
    Pernell Whitaker wins vs Floyd

    Floyd beats Hector Camacho

Floyd beats Alexis Arguello 6 time out of 10

dont get so tender man
Those are really difficult, and there is always place for stupid comments :D
Floyd has a chance against JCC and Duran at higher weights because he can try to outbox them, same goes for a southpaw Camacho.
As for the rest, Floyd has a slim chance, they were just too good in their primes and at those weights

    Everyone forget the analysis part...

    Ok..here's my take:

    1. SRL: Not fair to PBF you are talking top 10 ATG, SRL had the heart, the skills, power and confidence to KO PBF inside 10 Rounds.. SRL is the stronger fighter at any of those weights, would match PBF speed and skills and all, and had the power advantage and above all he has the track record to support it...SRL, will force PBF to fight an inside fight, and counter PBF when they were in the middle of the ring....

    2. Tommy Hearns: to much power and boxing skills, lets no forget that Hearns outboxed SRL on more rounds than he lost to SRL ...I can see this fight turning similar to SRL I , the only thing rather than the 6th round PBF hurting Hearns like SRL did, he would follow up corner PBF, lets not forget that Hearns had excellent ring movement and can cut the ring with the best of them, Hearns jab will take over in the 6th, and corner PBF for the kill, left hook downstairs, left hook upstairs and the right cross to finish it...

    3. Roberto Duran: I see Duran raping PBF at 135 and 140, I beleive that speed might be an equalizer ofr PBF at 147, the fights at 135 and 140, Duran, again another master at cornering would execute so much pressure on PBF and forcing on exchanges, and do not underestimate Duran's speed, that he would totally overwhelm PBF ...at 147...I still favor Duran but a tall order...Duran would ahve to be on top of his game...

    4. Aaron Pryor: simply the best 140 ever, IMO, way to much power, pressure for PBF..PBF wuld be corner and fulminated by Pryor's funky combos...Pryors is a north south boxer, he would impossed his will by volume over PBF, to much apower speed and volume for PBF, he never faced an opponent with such drive, speed power and unorthodox style...Pryor by KO in similar fashion he disposed of AA first fight...

    5. Meldrick Taylor: had the speed and movement to deal with PBF speed, just as fast as PBF but sronger, Philly trained for durability and you ahve a deadly combo for PBF to deal with, please don;t underestimate Taylor who had the speed and the power to hang with anybody...don;t forget at the Olympics he was the darling boxer..becuase his speed and movement...great fight to watch by close

    6. JCC: IMO, this might be a tossed up, it will not be Taylor v JCC I all over again, but totally opposite I beleive that PBF would use his speed to stay a step ahead of JCC the entire fight, he would do similar combos to Taylor, will now when to pull back so he didn;t not received the body punishment that JCC would inflict on PBF is he hanged in the pocket to long...watch out for JCC able to corner PBF in several occassions and going to town, close fight but not enought...PBF by MD or close UD.

    7. Sweet Pea: to smart, at least equally fast and far more slicker than PBF, a southpaw,a slick one at that, that can move left to right, and north and south and will give PBF angles all night, master of distance control Sweet Pea will control the front toe battle all night and beat PBF to the punch in the center of the ring, and will force PBF to the corner and counter him masterfully...Sweet Pea by easy UD....possible late KO...at any weight...

    8. Hector Macho Camacho: at 130 the Macho man was a beautiful thing to watch , slick , fast southpaw with power and will hit you in so many angles, all I would like before you guys say anything is to watch Macho at 130 & 135 what I would considered his prime and them make your desicion...I will say this Macho at his prime had it all, all...he could match PBF in speed and movement, and was a master counterpuncher...he didn;t had trouble with slick fighter than box but with stocky boxers that brawl, his few loses at these weight clases were against that type of opponent not the slick boxer type...

    10. Alxis Arguello: tough fight , El flaco can fight and can hit, tough as nails, his erect style, will not present problem for PBF, but if he think he can dance around AA think again, this will be a tough fight for PBF...a pick'n type..El Flaco will corner PBF and go...but I think that PBF woiuld do enough to win by close UD or MD...PBF will not be so preatty at the end of this fight...

He loses to the first four and has a reasonable chance against the rest.

Hearns by SD? What to you see Mayweather doing to get the nod on a scorecard? And how do you see him beating Pernell Whitaker?
