    Hi Guys,

I'm sure everyone watched the fight last night and fell into one of two camps. On the one hand Mayweather sealed his legacy, while to some he cherry picked an older fighter. Throughout the rest of this post I would like to show how Mayweather has blunted even the sharpest of critics by going through some key moments where the hate towards him heightened for no apparent reason.

After Floyd beat up Hatton in the post fight interview Larry Merchant asked him why does he not fight some other great fighters: Winky Wright, Vernon Forrest, Miguel Cotto and Shane Mosley are all names that were brought up.

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ObZv-OovZqA&feature=PlayList&p=45B583F2A9CDF652&playnext_from=PL&index=6&playnext=4[/ame]

Following that interview he "retired" and for some reason during this retirement the resentment for Mayweather grew strong. I contribute this to the fact that Cotto v Magarito was such a good fight. After Margarito beat Cotto he was universally recognised as the man at WW. Then Shane as we know put an ass-whooping on Margarito and he instantly became the man at WW.

Floyd came back and probably decided that he needed a name opponent but also needed a tune up before some serious fights and decided to choose JM Marquez, who is a future Hall of Famer. Yes I agree...that this was not a tough match....but let's be honest if you have two years out you will need a tune up. For example B.Hopkins v Enrique Orneleas, ODH v Steve Forbes. But instead of thinking like this we were subjected to the following:

    1)[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KhpObxNl_6Y[/ame]
    2)[ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MEkpeSddPI0[/ame]

People started saying that "Mayweather was scared" and that he was a cherry picker etc. I have never heard of a cherry picker who has fought: G. Hernandez, D. Corrales, J.L.Castillo x 2, ODL Hoya at 154 (Underrated win). But yet people's resentment began to grow and this hate was really exemplified by this peace of garbage:

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YHmCYlIsX5E&feature=PlayList&p=3004B754253AE506&playnext_from=PL&playnext=1&index=32[/ame]

R.A. the Rugged man tried to diss Floyd and I thought knowledgeable people who respect boxing would ignore this stupid interview. R.A. called "Marquez a *****", he said "Mosley would knock you out" and said "You scared of Mosley" etc. But instead of realizing this guy is a clown, the haterz sided with R.A. congratulating on him for speaking the truth.

Then after Floyd dominates Marquez, no praise was given. In the post fight interview this happened:

    [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Zkc6ZEFeZc[/ame]

This for me topped it all off. When Mosley confronted Floyd there was so much rubbish floating about; and the recurring theme was that this fight will NEVER HAPPEN! People said it would not happen because of Mayweather. Oh and apparently Floyd was forced into it, hence trying to take away credit from the fact he actually signed to fight Shane.

Once the fight was signed another obstacle was crossed but their remained one left. People now started saying that Shane would destroy him etc (There is nothing wrong with saying that, it is an opinion).

The fight itself was a thing of beauty because Floyd robbed Mosley's Heart like no other fighter has been able to do. He not only out boxed him, he out fought and out thought him. He also showed Heart, Resilience and a level of composure only possessed by the very greatest fighters of all time.

When he puts on the performance of a life time and makes Sugar look like a Sub-par novice for 10 rounds it is because Shane must have grown old over night. People have placed far too many obstacles in front of this man's path to greatness. Yet he keeps overcoming them.

I expect Shane to come back and continue to beat other good WWs. But more importantly I expect Floyd to seal his legacy with an ultimate era defining fight when he faces his nemesis M.Pacman.

In an era where boxing needs ATGs like Floyd, why do so many people continue to hate? That is a question I can not answer. But at least I think I have shown that the criticisms have all been misdirected, if not plainly wrong.

PBF acts like a dick, and that doesn't help his cause when it comes to haters.

Everyone always has something to prove. Mayweather has been so dominant that people expect more out of him. He's like Tiger Woods. Tiger has to win at least one major and at least 6 or 7 tournaments in order for people to say he had a good year. It's the same thing with Mayweather. Whenver the criticism piles up, he comes back and silences everyone. Mayweather will get a ton of credit after this win. However, people will always demand more out of him. I think that's a good thing, because it forces him to stay on his game take on the big challenges.

He started the hate campaign by being a gigantic douchebag. He loves the hate, thrives off it.

Change your name to "Senseless". :rofl

You and all of the other Mosley fans need to send "Come Between" Kenny Bayless a Christmas card too. He saved your boy from getting RTD!

    Bwahawhahaha! :rofl
