he calls time in, completely legal.

the gatti fight though , the ref clearly says stop punching and floyd lets 1 rip and drops gatti, watched it back countless times and never see or hear anything to suggest floyd did anything other then blatent foul

not just that floyd got punished by his trainer getting sent out of the arena, so floyd fought with no trainer for the remainder of the fight

He dropped him from a shot that was well after the shot you're describing. While a foul led to Gatti's lapse of thought, the foul is not what dropped Gatti. Gatti stared to the ref for help with his arms down low and his momentary lapse of reason is why he was abruptly dropped two seconds later.

The ref said stop punching in the Gatti fight as Floyd had his elbow pinned on the back of Gatti's neck. He let go as the red said stop punching and then hit Gatti after he let go. I think that one was legal. Even if it wasn't, Gatti got up anyway so it wouldn't have mattered.

Don't let MVC read that, he'll tell you Ellerbe has a brilliant boxing IQ and is one of the top S&C coaches in the world

    Smh. Cry baby alt?
I've got better things to do with my time than create multiple internet aliases in an effort to slam FMJ. Some of you people really need to stop living in the world of ESB's boxing forum. Your responses are pathetic.

I think it's more that Floyd really didnt have anything to do with Roger entering or what followed after.

the whole thing kicked off after Floyd was blatantly hit low in the first place. it's quite clear he would have taken some time to recover and Richard Steele had already called time off. Plus there was only like 6 seconds left in the round anyway.

rules are rules but as said it's up to the ref to make the call and it would have been a bit **** to DQ an undefeated boxer in a big fight for the dumb decision of his corner that he had nothing to do with (Floyd stood calm in the neutral corner the entire time) especially after the whole thing started as a result for Floyd being clearly fouled twice.
