Jake Lamotta quite easily for me. Hearns power wont be able to stop the bronx bull and i think the physical strength of lamotta wears him down enough for Lamotta to win a ud or possible late stoppage

Jake's body attack would start to take the hit out of the hit man around the halfway mark and his durability and strength would close the deal.Jake by close but clear dec.

Jake would maul Tommy to death to create a 13th round stoppage.

I will put the Hearns from 154 (Duran) against Lamotta. I wish I we could have seen Jake in with Robinson in '43. Anyhow, I take Lamotta but the speed and power of Tommy is going to make a difference. On top of that Jake not being that hard of a swatter, Tommy has as much a chance as Robinson.

I think they go to the cards and Jake wins because Tommy is not as fluid in his movement as Robinson. This means he would stop, get cornered, get hit by unnessary shots and let the Bull pick up steam.

Because otherwise, this is a winnable fight for Tommy. He has the hand speed, reach, height, and skill to out point the Bull. But he won't because Jake will be crouching, getting close, and finding Tommy later in the fight and slowing him down. I think that the toughest of Jake is the difference.

    Lamotta on points close.

I think Tommy if he fights with his jab could break down Lamotta and stop him late on a TKO.

and I will be honest. I think the Duran who fought Hagler and Hearns from 1983 and 1984 would do well with LaMotta. Styles make fights.

I think Hearns has a decent shot in a 10 rounder non title fight. He may be able to hold the Bull off.

In a 15 round Championship fight I think LaMotta was just too tough, and too durable. Hearns may break his hand on Jake`s head along the way. Id say LaMotta TKO 12th. Tommy`s ribs would be hurting for months.

I think speed is the variable people are overlooking in some of the matches with 30,s 40,s 50s vs more modern fighters. This is where the transformation by Ali changed boxing. I always believed that if we could match old guys with young guys whether it is LaMotta with Hearns or Hagler, Mayweather with Robinson that we might have some big surprises, and it could be that the younger generations which do better.
