How Effective, strong and good was Tommy Hearns At Supermiddle?
He took the WBO belt against James Kinchen, knocked down but got a decision, beat Olajide, and of course Drew with Leonard and knocking him down twice.
Hows Hearns do against the following Supermiddle belt holders?
    Nigel Benn
    Chris Eubank
    Joe Calzaghe
    Steve Collins
    Jeff Lacy
    Lucian Bute
    Carl Froch

I see him getting caught hard by most of those at least once and that's all it would have to be to put him in serious trouble.

Hearns - Calzaghe is interesting just because Joe wasn't a big puncher. Hearns was the greater fighter but Calzaghe was the better super middle. Calzaghe beats both Hearns and Ray super middle for me.

I'll be honest, I hate to pick against Tommy but there s a few on here I see him losing to, maybe even being stopped. Joe Calzaghe is one that beats him, not sure Joe kos him but he gets a decision. Benn v Hearns.. Wooooo That's a war.

The problem with Hearns is he moved up and down too often. How could he get used to the weight. Against Olajide he looked soft. After he won his 4 titles and then 5, he should have stayed at 168 for a few years.
