Not tough enough mentally, say Tommy. Femi is gonna get Kronked out! :deal http://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/boxing/anthony-joshua-isnt-mentally-tough-6788985
After watching Whyte's last couple of iFL interviews I must admit i'm now a fan. Straight talking but seems a likeable, down to earth guy. Think Joshua sparks him out but hope he comes again and get's a crack at the British title when Joshua moves on.
Agreed. He also see's Kugan & Co. for what they really are - cheerleaders. And he pulls them up on it, too. :good I hope he gets the win. I really like AJ, but his level of opposition compared to his hype his too much of a contrast to make me back him. And the fact that AJ is supposed to steam this kid AND we have to pay for it as well!
That's it mate. A British HW who has won Olymipic Gold and gone on to knock out everyone one of his opponents - I really should like him, but just can't stand the hype he's receiving. Hoping the train gets derailed and Eddie is left well out of pocket.
I agree Whyte seems like a decent bloke and tells the truth. With everyone k!ssing Joshua's as$ it is refreshing to hear an opponent speak up and it's not false bravado just confidence and straight talk. Problem is, in real life, in the fight, being more likeable doesn't count for anything.
You'll see on the 12th when the Villain doesn't fall over like fat old Kingpin and is still in there throwing back mid rounds, then you'll see some doubts creep into Femi's mind and the loss in the ams will come flooding back just before he's on his ass taking a count.
Isn't that the truth. It is clear that Eddie has deep pockets. If he didn't then how would he fit so many referees in them! Biggest danger to Dillian is the classic Matchroom pitter patter stoppage. Why have nearly all of AJ's opponents been stopped on their feet?
I'm not surprised people are picking Whyte, I have said for a long time that Whyte is super confident, he believes and will come to fight and I genuinely believe it's not a front or a PPV sales ploy. Whyte hits hard, very hard and will throw punches with intent and that makes him dangerous. As a pro we do not know how AJ reacts to getting hit and and that's what is making this fight is interesting, he may well get hit and hit hard. I like them both and feel both deserve tons of praise, two unbeaten British HW's putting it all on the line for our entertainment. Whatever the result I hope they both go on to do great things.
