Ray Hatton has just said his son will never return to the Welterweight division and because of huge PPV fiqures in both the UK & the States the Hitman will receive an incredible 20 million pounds. His father worked the deal with Sky Sports where Hatton will get a percentage of every PPV over 350,000...it did over 900,000. **** me...no wonder he left Frank Warren, nice work.

    Is that UK only?

What would that translate to in US Dollars? I have no idea what foreign currency is worth.

    900,000 PPVs is pretty impressive.

Holy crap! Well done, Rick! That's gotta be worth a knockout from Floyd.

£ to $: Just double the figure, basically. :)

As usual you have to wonder where these numbers are coming from.

True, Ralph, but if it's accurate £20 million / $40 million is damned impressive. I'm speechless.

There goes a De La Hoya fight. And I'm glad we will probably never see it if these sources are accurate.

Hatton should stay at 140 for good.

True, especially if it's from a UK poster. One poster from the UK tried to claim the live gate for Calzaghe/Kessler was almost $200 million.

Agreed. He don't need a De La Hoya fight anyway, he would most likely lose cause he's way too small.
