Hearns/Hatton at 147 would be a 3 round fight, and I'm giving Ricky all the credit he deserves. Twenty-nine Tommy Hearns opponents never saw the end of the third. Some of those guys were middleweights, a few light heavyweights, and a couple were cruiserweights. Ricky was a lovable character, but he was also a junior welter. Do the math.

Let me tell you something about the two. I have seen both of them up close. Tommy Hearns is tall and lanky. Hatton stock and compact. If they were both at their prime, they would have a great fight. But Hearns is old and Hatton like the ale too much. Yea go ahead and book the fight it may be one to bet on !!!!! Why not fight fans pay PPV on MMA.

If I knew Hatton liked such fat lines as in the famous youtube clip, I never would have bet on him in his fights.

I don't hate Hatton, he was a very good fighter and never backed down from a challenge..
But Tommy Hearns..
The biggest puncher ever at 147, standing almost 6"2", good speed, Exceptionel boxing skills, great jab, great combos and excellent accuracy..
This would be way too much for Hatton, Hearns was a nightmare @147..
