Yeah I don't think hatton was trying to get one up on pac I think he was just trying to stay focused.

Here is how much a stare down means.........

All you have to do is look between a fighters eyes and he will think you are staring right into his eyes. In the meantime you avoid the eye contact if your nervous and just look at a patch of skin.

Its all tricks and dont meant ****!

    100 lines - Staredowns Don't Mean Anything.

    Then do another 100.

I remember one Razor Ruddock fight around '86 or '87, at the ref final instructions he couldn't look the other guy in the eye at all. The other guy (identity escapes me) thought he had the edge and started pushing his face forward and acting macho.

Within a round or two he was in a heap on the canvas trying to remember not to play with matches.

except floyd had gotten into rickys head so much, that ricky almost went for him right there and then. Also started screamin at the end lool. And floyd stared him down proper.

Hatton seemed to lose it sometimes in that build up.

actually I think both guys like and respect each other as people. That is good to see. Rare to see two guys who fight them all respecting each other.

As we know a good big un usually beats a good little un so at odds of 13/8 it's worth a bet on Hatton

True but they are different fighters...those two could have held hands and it wouldn't tell us anything about this fight!!!!!

Noticed the handshake more than the stare down, Pacquaio is always smiling!!! but the handshake was strange, hatton was more eager to stand toe to toe and Pacman was constantly flexing and jokingly touched him...then offered the handshake!!! (weird, but we won't know what it means until the fights over)

You can't fake body language and Hatton looks picture perfect... lets hope he brings that to the fight.

More calm than for the mayweather fight and deadly serious!!!!!!!

I noticed that with you Filipinos. When I first met my friends they were quiet and very accommodating. They don't like staring at people unless they you set them off the wrong way. I don't take nothing of it. I've seen Pacquiao's courage and the man has no fear. I am sure of it.

Nah man. Pacquiao was friendly with Ricky, they played darts together. As of that stare down Ricky was still his friend, and Pacman was ricky's enemy. He'll get that game face tomorrow.

hmm, i have been pretty sure all along that hatton will do this tommorow, but i saw a look in his eye tonight which was similar to what i saw in his eye before the mayweather fight, that the size of the occasion and the pressure was getting to him a bit, i hope im wrong...
