It doesn't really matter who wins the staredown contest. Oscar delahoya is not known for the staredown infact most of the time when the fight is starting and they are in the middle of the ring he usually looks up instead of staring at his opponent. It didn't hurt him most of the time did it? He won most of his fights.

I love how everybody is coming up with there own theories and conspiracy stories for why Manny was smiling! But yeah I noticed it, I even felt slightly bad when Ricky just stared straight at him without blinking, but to be honest, If i was face to face with Ricky Hatton staring at me like he was about to **** me, I think I would have to smirk too.

Manny's more into the flexing after the weight is read than the stare down.

Maybe. Maybe not. Figters fight w/ their fists, not w/ their eyes.

    Exactly.

Ricky can be as tough as he wants in the staredown, it's what happens in the ring that counts.

Manny has too much class, and is going to destroy Hatton.

Don't bother with these staredown theories, they're worthless and never meant nothing but people still make a big fuss about them. If fights were won there then half of Pacquiao's record would be losses.

And you can accomplish that w/ a simple stare down? Just a simple ****ing wink will do in a routinary activity such as this.
