yes , you may very well be right. But ive even seen a vid of that guy in your avatar say when he used to stairdown opponents-hed sense their weaknesses from it. For tyson this gave him hes fuel. He loved making people scared and being the bully. How many times you see a stairdown with tyson an the opponent looks like the shat himself? tyson the bully loved this lol. they were almost beaten before they even got into the ring

Some clown goes to me about fighting---well you should know...if you look into their eyes, you can see whether they really want it or not. If their scared for you, if their not etcetc. And im not even really talking about this fight.

I agree staredowns can be a usual iintimidation tactic, but I guarantee you Pac is not intimidated by Hatton. And I didn't see anything to indicate otherwise.

That's the biggest load of crap! A staredown has never landed a punch on fight night that I know of? Manny's persona has always been laid back. Maybe the flip side of this is that Ricky has to convince himself he can win? This is a great fight any way you look at it, but to say that the #1 P4P fighter in the world somehow loses his title at a staredown is obsurd!!!

Lesson Learned: Next fight, Roach will scrap sparring. He will concentrate on killer staredown practice.

who said that? i was just talking in general-you dont even know what he said to me...and you statement''a staredown has neve rlanded a punch' makes no sense and is a babyish statement.

For pac i was merely making an observation. I didnt say he was scared or it meant anything-read again

If it is done by guys like Tyson, Toney, Hopkins, etc, then it it a sign of being intimidated.

But Pac is not into this staredown thing, he isfriendly towards his opponents. It would be awkward for him to stare at Hatton like he is going to eat him then few seconds later smile and shake his hands.

means not a damn thing! Pac is not scared of Hatton look at the guys he's faced! give me a break. This isnt Tyson who had others fearing him because of the KO'S, its a whole different thing. Hatton comes in with no such Aura or Mystique so please give me a break.

I think staredowns could give an advantage in the the first few rounds... The loer of a staredown could feel a bit pussyish and if the winner attacks early could get blown away... BUT if they go past the first few rounds and are holding their own, stare downs mean SFA..
