    This thread got me thinking… who will get inducted in 2023? Or rather, who will miss out?

    Eligible for the first time in 2023, will be boxers who had their last fight last year… which (in contrast to 2013) was an unusually strong "retirement year". Boxers who had their last fight in 2017, include such strong HOF candidates as:
    Ward
    Mayweather
    Wladimir
    Toney
    Cotto

    Normally all these guys would be a shoo-in to get inducted the first year of eligibility. But since only 3 can get in, who do you guys think won't make it in 2023?

    Wow! That is a deep class in 2023. If I had to pick three I would go Toney, Ward and Mayweather.
