Hold on, Couture has lost 4 times, in a quicker time than he beat total novice Toney

Chill Brother, every boxing fan knows that was a bull**** fight , and frankly no one gives a **** about toney anymore , no one has for years , but that does not take away who he was as a fighter so long ago

 

Not in an embarrassing fashion, where horrible flaws that will never be fixed are clear to anybody with eyes.

 

It means nothing. You have to compare the loss with the ability of the opponent that he was facing.

 

Couture's first three losses, all in the first round, weren't exactly against HOF level opposition and these came after he was the UFC champ.

Its really incredible that MMA fans are flaunting this fight, even they knew it was a farce.

 

MMA fighters aren't flaunting this fight. They're simply relishing in it because Toney talked such epic smack beforehand.

Which three losses are you talking about with Couture? First you said his first three losses (of his career?), then you said after he was champ.

What exactly do you think that proves? That Couture isn't a great fighter?

This logic about timing past Couture losses is so stupid. What if Kimbo Slice lasts let's say, 2 rounds in his first boxing match? Does that make him better than every boxer that has ever suffered a first round knockout early in his career?

Couture's last loss by submission happened nearly 10 years ago. You would be able to find unimpressive performances put in by great boxers early in their careers if they weren't lucky enough to have fought journeyman for their first 15-20 fights.
