Take time to do a little research before you post, then you won't look like an idiot.

I shouldn't have to read through all of the posts to see if you have corrected a dumb ass statement, clearly your ******ed, go back to watching sky sports news and fantasizing about Georgie Thompson being your girlfriend.

He just said he thought that was what he hear. it was the third highest attendance, pretty easy thing to mix up surely... I don't put research into everything I say on here, and I'm often wrong or not sure of things i've said and have people correct me without trying to make me look like a dick.

Does Arum actually HAVE to release the PPV numbers, or could he keep them private if he wished? I dont know much about these things...

No I don't do research into everything I say either, but when someone is stating things that they say are FACTS then they should have atleast taken time to make sure they are infact facts.

I only pointed this out when I saw that he was telling someone to "Do 1" when they challenged what he said, when he was clearly wrong.

  9. Estimates are around 750k right now. That's actually an incredible number considering the lack of promotion.

It's better than Oscar de la Hoya's numbers against similarly unpopular fighters (e.g. Sturm, Quartey, etc) and with even less promo - far better, actually. And Oscar is considered the greatest PPV draw of all time.

I would guess Mayweather-Clottey would've done about the same. Floyd and Manny really have incredible star quality and appeal right now.

We'll probably never find out the real number. It was an all Top Rank event, so they would be the ones to ok the release of the numbers. Considering they still haven't been released, the fight probably failed to meet expectations. It may have still done well, just not as well as expected.

Until now there is no announcement?

    Probably around 250-400k.

That is what you get for going full-throttle in promoting this mega ****in' event.
