Holmes-Ali - is it a little underrated of a win

    And Larry was a fool for taking the fight under those circumstances. It's not like he desperately needed the money at this point. Holmes,normally,always struck me as a very savvy guy. Not so in this case.

    Holmes would always go for the money. Up until about a year ago he said he would still fight if they offered him $1 million.

    Just after Holmes turned 60 and was in the gym was the first time he finally admitted that he couldn't fight at a high level anymore. It was after a workout and he sat down and chatted a bit and he more or less came to terms with the fact that his days of fighting in the ring were over.

    Sad on the face of it, but actually the champ is a very fortunate man.

    To still be thinking about entering the ring for real at 60!
