Nope. But I'm more than a little aware that the shot we're talking about as an extremely accurate one from a desperate, top ten HW puncher of all time. And, you know... It landed on a blown up LH. Don't see people faulting Spinks for his 91 second demolition at the hands of Tyson... But Moorer beats the **** **** out of Foreman and eventually gets caught, and suddenly middle aged and cranky tinks' it's heelarious!
I guess this was in response to what I wrote (although the common courtesy of a quote was neglected) I think M. Spinks should have stayed at LW. I don't fault him for attempting to move up, but what he acccomplished as a HW was rather minute. M. Spinks beat an ATG HW way past his prime and got destroyed by the first good HW fighter actually fighting in his prime. M. Spinks was a great light heavyweight, nothing more. At least that is my view of him.
Since when is the debate regarding Spinks whether or not he's a great HW or a great LW? The only related string I see between Moorer and Spinks is that both were blown out by extremely powerful, legit HW punchers.
I missed an H in my first post, sorry. If you think Spinks needs to be debated at different weights, my suggestion is to start that particular thread. Nothing complicated about that Never mind, I forgot about the Charles ALS thread stuff..... you just post whatever you want bud!
Sure. Me echoing what numerous people close to Ezzard felt and verbalized. Absolutely nothing to do with how I feel or perceive the situation.
I suppose you are of the ilk that would jump off a 500 feet high bridge just because others thought it would be a good thing to do.
