    Who wins ?
I think Holmes would school him in a one sided beat down, foreman was too crude,Holmes picks him apart imo

I, on the other hand, would take Foreman. Not saying it wouldn't be close, but (prime, I am assuming) Foreman was a beast.

Also, this thread should be in classic.

Easy win for Holmes. Much much better boxing skills. Foreman was a crude, onedimensional slow slugger. Holmes a proper boxer. Easy night.

Prime vs Prime, Holmes in an 11-4 type route.

However, old Foreman took more than 7(?) yrs OFF, and while he was very much a limited fighter, he had sneaky 2 handed power, and would easily have lulled Holmes to sleep and stopped him late in a very closely scored affair

Glad you put it in the general. There is too much generational bias in the classic.

If you could give the younger Foreman the comeback versions defense and ring IQ, I would go with that Foreman by KTFO.

Young Holmes absolutely outboxes and mugs young Foreman.

Old Foreman probably stops old Holmes,

Foreman couldn't outbox Jimmy young a holmes like style, had they fought in mid 80's,foreman still loses...late 80's Holmes still wins and 90's holmes wins that's pretty clear as Foreman was outboxed by even Axel Shultz.I would want foreman to win but wanting and being real are two different things. This is why foreman ducked Tucker another long lengthy technical boxer as well.

I think the fact Holmes has called him out millions of times and George didn't want it speaks volumes
