Other than the vicious left-hook knockdown, it was an absolute pathetic performance from Holt tonight. Gave away round after round. Refused to throw punches. He deserves this loss about to come his way. Rated G. :-(
another case of fans overrating a fighter in holt...this guy is beaten by torres who is way below the talent of tim
He lost me as a fan tonight. Moaned all the time, clinched at every opportunity and refused to let go, had Bradley hurt at the end and didn't even attempt to get him out of there, and then thought he could actually win the fight? Shame on him, and well done Bradley.
Holt didn't lose because he was against a better fighter, he lost because he was against a fighter who wanted it more than he did. No more, no less.
Holt just didn't show up tonight almost at all tonight. A couple of big punches doesn't give you the fight in a 12 round championship match.
and by wanting it more, people would now talk that tim is a better fighter than holt...stop excuses, im sure holt is convinced that tim is a better man and the proof of that is he would not demand a rematch because it is unneccessary...the world knows who is the BETTER man
Tim's a good fighter, but he couldn't knock Kendall down despite Holt having a questionable chin. How many times has Kendall been down,8? Bradley seems to have just a little more power than Malignaggi. I'm of the same opinion as many posters here. Holt's jab was very effective, but mostly, he refused to throw it. Al Bernstein was somewhat flabbergasted over that one.
I said this in another thread. Holt loads up too much and has fallen in love with his power. I knew Bradley would outwork him to a win.
Let's give some props to Bradley. He was on Holt's ass from the getgo. Usually in this case you say Holt needs a new trainer but **** that. His corner said everything right "Use your ****ing jab!" At least Zab Judah can say "My corner sucks" and be accurate. Holt put on a "special" performance in the wrong sense.
