Shut the **** up with the excuses crap. I don't need to make excuses, I couldn't careless who won the fight anyway. Well done Bradley, you were the better man tonight, Holt just didn't want it as much as you did. You're not more skilled, and you don't have more ability, you just wanted it more.
But that left hook though...good god. I thought it was over. It looked like Bradley went airborne. I could of sworn I seen his feet leave the ground.
Agreed. Anyone who can get up from that hook just wants it more than you. Like I said in the fight thread, the hook was the worst thing to happen to Holt. When he landed it, he figured "**** I'll just do it again." He threw nothing but hooks and when they landed great, otherwise he gave up points to the more active and flashier Bradley.
Why are all of you acting surprised by Holt's performance? He did the same thing during his fight with Arnaoutis or whatever his name is. Boring fight and boring fighter. Props to Bradley since I thought it was going to be over when he left his chin hanging and Holt caught him.
Funny though... Bradley made Junior Witter like like dog ****. I already said it. Holt couldn't **** with the athleticism and he definately couldn't handle the body shots. He thinks cupping his chin and bending over is gonna cut it. He's a cretan.
That's BS. Bradley looks pretty ordinary but does everything right. He's a bloody talented boxer. Deserving champ and ready to take on the best in the division IMO.
Who the hell is his condioning trainer? I mean it seemed like he was on the back pedle from the 4th round on. Stopped jabbing and just looked tired after only a couple of rounds. It's like he was fine the first 2-3 rounds and then after that his activity just dropped a bunch.
i agree, i don't know what the **** he was thinking either, i thought he was all pumped up after all that **** talking before the bellatsch
Thought Bradley did well to get up in the first round but other than that Holt did very little. He was using the jab well in the opening stages and then just abandoned it all together. This allowed Bradley to get in close and fire off combinations and control the pace of the fight.
This is exactly what I predicted would happen. Holt's shot to success on the back of a lucky headbutt KO of Torres and a yawnfest decision over Hopkins, which he was lucky to win. He hasn't got the mentality of a champion, and his performance was well and truly marred by complacency. He deserved to lose to the younger, hungrier fighter. He just wasn't up for it - he was clinching, throwing wild shots, complaining to the ref constantly etc. I'm glad Bradley won and I hope his success continues.
