I can see Mallignaggi facing Holt but in no way can I see Hatton doing so if Holt wins tonight. Hatton has much more to gain financially and an easier time if he fights some of the lightheavies moving up. Pacquaio, Diaz, Katsidis, Casamayor are all easier and bigger paying fights than a young, talented, and less lucrative Holt.
Same here.. Holt has a very good chance, but I see Torres hurting him again in the late rounds.. Maybe similiar to the first fight.. I would like for the winner to fight either Kotelnik or Bradley for the WBC or WBA title.. Torres TKO8 Holt
Pretty intersting comments so far and more of a split down the middle. Most feel this thing is not going the distance though. I agree. :yep
This is a very difficult fight to predict. Let's first look at the outcomes that are improbable. A draw is out of the question, and in my opinion a Torres decision victory won't happen. This leaves us with 3 possible outcomes... Holt by decision, Holt by KO, or Torres by KO. I feel like the location of this fight will play a vital role in the outcome. Holt was cruising along in the first fight... then a combination of Torres' pressure and the crowd got him out of his comfort zone. I think Holt will come into this fight much more mentally prepared and be able to handle Torres' pressure. Torres knows Holt can hurt him, and vice versa. Holt will not get complacent this time around and will be able to seal the deal. The final factor, which should not be overlooked, is that Holt looked DIESEL at the weigh-in. Holt by TKO in the 9th
True... but Miranda has a very raw and flawed technique. Holt is much more polished in a technical sense.
Judging by peoples picks you would never select Holt as a monster favourite like he is seen by the sportsbooks. Torres is a massive price.
