I noted earlier in a thead that I found it odd that Holyfield would weigh in so light at 211.5......I mentioned that that scales may have been off, and it looks like from the link I will put up that they were.

My guess is that Holyfield and Sultan were the first fighters on the card to get on the scale......

......here's a link stating that there was turmoil when Dmitry Kirillov and Jose Navarro stepped on the scales....
.....the problem was corrected, and it turned out that the scales were either broken or not well calibrated.

Again, since Holyfield and Sultan are Heavyweights, a big deal must have not been made because Heavyweights dont have to make weight, thus they must have not been brought back to be re-weighed.

Again, I saw the article and when I read there was turmoil from the scales being broken or not properly calibrated, I'm putting the pieces together and it explained to me why it was officially announced that Holyfield weighed in at such a low weight.

More than likely, Holyfield is closer to what he's been weighing in his last several fights than the 211.5 that was announced, which means that Sultan weighs heavier himself.

    Here is the link.....

Both seem lighter than usual, so it's possible...

Sultan doesn't seem as chunky. He's not a ripped guy and I know this isn't bodybuilding, but i think its good to see that he trimmed some fat.

  4. No the scales arn't off! Holy trained his ass off and 211 sounds about right, he was never a big guy in his prime around 207, and guy's usually put on weight the night before a fight, Holy will probaly come in the ring around 215..

Sultan looks like he's done paid his dues in the gym which could mean an early exit for Evander..:happy

Holy dosen't have the punch or strength to keep the Sultan off him the smart money will be on Sultan for a stoppage inside of 10, the fight being in Moscow will have IGGY real hyped...:yep

    GO SULTAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup
