No Mijares was not over rated.He is one hell of a fighter. He just got beat by someone that is leagues ahead of everyone in this division. Donaire watch out Vic is got you in his sights.

i like vic to win and predicted him to do so since he did improved after the KO loss to donaire. the mijares stoppage humbled most of his fans who rated him too high. i hope you will not do the same to vic and then cry after watching him humbled again by nonito.

 

Vic will give Donaire an even greater beating in a rematch than he gave to Mijares.

 

Can we please ban the following words from the forums?

1. Overated.

Mijares a proven champ is now overated, just like when Cotto lost he suddenly became overated.


2. Glass jaw.

Just because a guy gets put on his arse dont mean he has a glass jaw.

It's a musical chair. Now, it's Darchinyan that they're hyping forgetting that his guy's ass was whooped a year ago by a Filipino.

 

Thats pretty rich coming from you. If a fighter is Filipino then you are telling everyone how they are unbeatable constantly. :-(

 

Two sentences contradict each other. If Darchinyan is leagues ahead of everyone in the division, then all the people who were claiming that Mijares was 'leagues ahead' of everyone in the division and top six or seven P4P were, by definition, 'over-rating' him.

 

I picked Vic by a shutout against Mijares. Read my posts.References to his loss to Donaire were made at the time. I say Vic had a bad night and Nonito had a good one. The outcome of a rematch will be an intelligent one sided beatdown of Donaire.

 

Its shifting now...that was a good win for Vic, now you proclaim he will beat the guy who took him to school then Knocked him out in the process...crazy

 

i do not think that any pinoy boxer is unbeatable nor am i a filipino supremacist. i just find it somewhat annoying that after mijares and his fans were humbled came along these new darchinyan posters bragging that even nonito would get beaten more soundly than mijares when the first fight proved that nonito is more of a match for vic.
