Lol, Teddy knows his **** boyz but what people got to realize is that Teddy's been around the bussiuness for a long time and he knows that part of his job is the sell. Often the fights that he picks wrong are no hope upsets that he's picking just to build suspence and interest for the fights. Call it professoinal curtacy or something I don't know but thats how he rolls. Believe me if you think Teddy's stupid enough to actually believe his words when he picks Austin to beat Wladmir then you've misjudged the situation.
to be honest a hell of a lot of them were clouded by his personal bias and most of them include ridiculous picks against the Klits. When he doesn't hate a fighter, or when neither fighter is overhyped or popular enough to draw his ire, his predictions don't sound as many death knells for his picks.
Dave Lahr picked Montiel, that's why Donaire won, and that's why Atlas jumped on Donaire, as soon as you see Dave Liar picking someone, pick the other fighter.
I still fondly remember him picking Thompson against Wladimir. ...Then fondly remember him pulling Povetkin away from Wladimir a few years later.
teddy knows about boxing but he SUCKS as a trainer.he can't pick fights and he sucks as a trainer because theres just something missing.if he were a fighter he would be mo harris.looks like the real deal the whole package and got all the tools but theres just something missing. he ruins fighters and i said that years before anyone else.oh and he TALKS waaaaaaay to much.
