I am not a Lenni fan at all, but Bowe ducked Lewis just like he ducked the numerous punchers roaming around in his era and for good reasons as the Gollata fights showed.

Holyfield probably had to be talked out of attempting to make a comeback to fight the winner of Joshua/Wilder

Lewis and Holyfield the best of the 90's for me. Holmes and Tyson the best of the 80's

Yep, Lewis and Holyfield are the two best of the 90s but was Lewis the best or was it Holyfield? Lewis beat Holyfield at the end of the decade to finally become undisputed champion but Holyfield was undisputed champ for two years and regained the title twice. He also beat Bowe and Tyson (twice). Lewis's dominant period was 2000-2003 but he was also arguably the best heavy for a few years in the mid-to-late 90s when he wasn't getting title opportunities. Lewis really should be the greater heavyweight but he managed to lose to two average heavyweights by KO plus Holyfield overachieved to such an extent that he brings it into question too. Both are on the edge of or just inside the all-time top 10 heavies but it's very close between them.

Holyfield beat a better and more dangerous version of Tyson and fought the best fighters out there at every opportunity and in their prime and close to their prime unlike Lewis to be honest.

They did, with LL getting a controversial stoppage.
