    Funny.

Every time someone has said something like this he has beaten the very men it was said he would never fight or those proven better within a year.

    Rinse and repeat.

Does anyone have a better catalogue of fights post 2008 than Mayweather?

    JMM - No 2 P4P
    Mosley - No 3 P4P & Lineal at WW
Cotto - No 1 ranked at JMW
    Canelo
    Maidana
    Pacquaio

All of them are future HOFers.

Guerrero (No 10 P4P and No 3 at WW) isn't exactly a warm body either - he's a good, solid fighter. Ortiz looked like he had all the tools to be a great fighter - but he's a mental weakling. No way of really knowing that at the time of the Mayweather fight.

The most popular fighter on this forum - Golovkin - hasn't fought a single future HOFer in his entire career to date in 16 world title fights. That's not a criticism either - he's fought decent opposition, I just think we hold Mayweather to an unfair standard at times.

Yeah suprisingly he's been a very gracious winner. However he always is like this after the fight but he didn't talk **** before the fight.

I'd say so, yes. But even if you want to quibble over it - simply remove him from the "future HOFer" part and reassess, the point remains.

Floyd did not disparage his opponent -- only compliments.
He showed respect and alot of class -- unlike Pac and Roach.

Yup! Floyd even went up to Manny at the post fight presser to hug him. Has he ever done that for anyone else?

Too bad you're late. He's got 1 fight left and then he's done. Should've appreciated him when you had the chance.
