I think Alvarez is being underrated because of his huge hype. Yes, he's young but is a very patient operator with good snap in his punches. He also comes to fight and doesn't shy away in exchanges. Alvarez might stop Trout. I for one, would be suprised if Trout outboxes him a la Cotto.

I'm really not the type to throw stuff on anyone's face. Not my style. Predictions are not always easy to make. Surprises happen. If everyone was right most of the time, we'd all be in Vegas betting and getting rich. Unfortunately that's not how it works. So I'm not going to trash talk or anything like that. As for May, I don't know if he will take the fight. I just have an opinion and I don't think he will, based on the his past. But I told you before, If May would take the fight, I'd give him a lot of credit. When I give you an opinion, it's an honest one, I'm not here to troll. So accusing May of ducking is not something that brings me joy.

 

Nothing to do with stamina, he just needs to set his feet too much and his power IMO is overrated. It's about Floyd level to those who've been hit by both.

 

Setting his feet isn't always a death sentence. It can also work to your advantage in exchanges, not just on offense but defense as well. You wont get caught in bad positions, if you get hit. Trout may not "set" his feet when he punches but that also means that when he hits, he doesn't carry much weight because he is always hitting and moving. You think canelo is going to respect Trouts punch? You say Canelo's power is overrated. Overrated in what way? Of course he doesn't have Tommy Hearns power. But I think it's pretty obvious that he carries a good punch. Do you really think Trout hits just as hard as Canelo? Honestly?
