If he wants to live off the Super Six victory for the rest of his career, and fight bums in Oakland in front of 1500 fans every time, that's up to him. But if he wants to take his legacy to the next level, he must step outside his comfort zone. At this point, Ward needs Froch more than Froch needs Ward.

You fight where the money is at. You can be the greatest technical boxer of all time but if people don't find you interesting they won't pay for it. Ward has to realize he is not the draw. He can't sell a fight. Ward is better then Froch and I think he beats him but this refusal to fight anyone if it isn't in your backyard is stupid. Hes mad because theres people who think he "has" to come to the UK to fight Froch.

When have you ever seen a fighter who in the recent pass has easily beaten a fighter be told that he then "has" to go to the vanquished opponents home town to fight?

Also the fact that despite all the media talk Froch has never shown any official interest in fighting him. That seemed to tick Ward off too.

People are almost accusing Ward of ducking yet Frochs promoter has never picked up the phone and actually looked for a rematch.

He can fight Dirrell, Chavez,GGG, Hopkins, Dawson at 175 all in America.
