It must be frustrating being told you're ducking a guy you already beat so decisively before.

"BUT IF THE FIGHT WAS IN ENGLAND!" Idiots...

You sure know that purses are never known for sure? Also Froch made more money with that Kessler fight than Ward ever has. This is a fact. And now Froch is a big name in the UK and will make big money (compared to Ward) from now on! You really dont have to be smart to see this.

So let me get this straight, Ward dominated Froch and Froch is still talking sht? Fuk him, he knows he's not the best. He will always be behind Ward.

I said purses are "never" known for sure? What a piece of dung you are, putting words in my mouth.

And LOL at future earnings. Let's see Froch fight a nobody and pull 1.5mil. Fact is, he needed a high earner to pull his highest payday. Ward's just getting started with his contract on HBO. We'll see how things work out.

Man just use your brain. Froch is now much bigger in the UK than he was in the past. He will now always fight in front of big crowds. And he wont fight a nobody so your arguement is just stuipid. He could fight Groves and would make more money than Ward. Froch has many options and Ward does not even has a belt right now. I wonder how many people want to watch him when he has no belt?:think Ward could not sell much WITH a belt! WITHOUT a belt it wont get better. Also Ward got more money than Dawson. Where Froch-Kessler was 50-50 or even less for Froch. If Froch fights a nobody he will get the biggest part of the Purse.

Ward has not made any big money in the USA. 1.3 million dollar is not a lot. If Ward wants a big money fight it is in the UK against Froch. Or a fight against Hopkins. There is nothing left in the Super Middleweight division. Not hard to see.

Having heard the actual interview (thanks for posting it :good), seems to me like Ward is open to either option, as long as Froch and his team really want the fight. He's not going to chase Froch...whom he already schooled with an injured hand. I doubt Froch will seek another match with Ward, considering there are more winnable fights he can make at home. With that said, Ward does not seem to have a great many options to earn big paydays in the US. Waiting on JCC Jr to move up is not really viable, so, looking for more opportunities abroad might be the way to go to maximize the purses.

:lol:Nobody is saying that other than Froch himself, its the best fight to make around that weight at the moment, Ward would get a career high payday.

Ward has his whole career in front of him. He's also got a contract from HBO that will guarantee him seven figures regardless of who he faces. 1.3m is a lot when you consider he is hardly a big name and his opponent was even less of a draw. Froch, on the other hand, needed a fellow big name to earn his career high payday of roughly a million more. If Froch wants a rematch in the UK he'll make a lucrative offer. If not, he can proceed to collect one last payday or two by getting his ass kicked by Hopkins. Ward, on the other hand, has many years left and has already beat the Cobra down. Celebrate now while I file your rants under "premature ejaculation"

Nobody say Ward wont make more money in the future:patsch:patsch:patsch
We talk about the current situation. If Ward wants a big money fight and a belt in his division again, it has to be Froch in the UK. This is really not hard to understand. Now go and think before you post something.
And no 1.3 million dollar is not a lot. Even Abraham did more in germany and he was never that great at super middleqweight. I am done here bye.

1.3m is what I would expect Froch to get for fighting someone who sells even less tickets than Ward.

Anyway if Froch wants a rematch he'll make it worth Ward's while. If not he can carry on with the last few fights of his career knowing he got his ass handed to him.

Ward needs to be patient and also he needs to be more active. When Froch was 29, nobody cared about him and that's pretty much where Ward is now. But if he becomes more active and has meaningful fights, he will soon be p4p #1 and then he will start to get attention. He doesn't need to run his mouth - just get in there and fight.

oh I dunno ... Maybe to gain more European fans? (They like that sort of thing.) Ward is all butthurt at the attention Ward is getting, yet he just wants to stay in the shire and smoke leaf all day.

Maybe to dispel the pervasive belief that he relies on home-town cooking?
